Clothespin Magnets
I got this idea one day when I was looking at my fridge thinking that I wanted a better, more colorful way to display my kids’ art. This craft is simple, easy and useful. Enjoy!
Supplies:
- Modge Podge
- disposable craft or makeup sponges
- clothespinsprinted/colored paper
- business card magnetsscissors or rotary cutter
- Xacto knife
Directions:
1. Cut colored paper into 1″ x 3″ stripes.
2. Apply Mod Podge to one side of the clothespin with the sponge and then stick to a stripe of printed/colored paper.
3. Once dry, use the Xacto knife to trim the excess paper.
4. Cut the magnet into 1/4″x 2 1/2″ stripes.
5. Apply Mod Podge to the printed side of the magnet and stick the side of the clothespin without the printed paper.
You can use scrapbook paper, newspaper or just plain colored construction paper to cover the clips. I might even use food labels next time to hang my grocery list!
ohgoodgolly I love this! so simple and so cute!
It will work great for holding lists too in the garage and workshop. Thanks!
