Weekly Journal Prompts: #3
Last week we talked about using your time wisely. I felt like so much of my day was wasted every day with distractions, so that journal post was very helpful. I was surprised at how much of my day was spent getting nothing productive or beneficial done! This week my writing prompt will be about reflecting on yourself.
Write 10 things you love about yourself.
After reviewing last week’s prompt, I started to think about how much I hated that I get so distracted and my thoughts turned so negative. It made me feel so unhappy with myself. So, I wanted to spend this week thinking about what I love about me. This can be a hard subject to think about, most of us are so critical of ourselves. We constantly compare ourselves to others and pass judgement for our failures without recognizing where our strengths are. Where are you succeeding in your life? What part of your daily life are you just killing it? Your successes don’t have to be earth shattering. Small things are big things! Any win, no matter how small, is still a win.
I am using these weekly prompts to reach my goal of self-discovery and making the events and actions in my daily life more intentional. My intention in sharing them is to hopefully inspire you to keep journaling, or to find your own path!
