Yarn Wreath with Felt Flowers
I finally crossed off one of the items from my Fall To Do List – making a wreath. I had a little bit of trouble in the beginning because my front door has a screen in front of it and there is very little space between for a wreath to fit, so I had to get a little creative. I like the idea of the yarn wrapped wreath, so I decided to make one that was flat so that it would fit.
took a cardboard cake plate that I had and cut out a circle in the middle. Then I wrapped it with tan colored yarn. This part was the most irritating, not difficult….just irritating. It didn’t take long, I finished it while watching a half hour tv show.
Then I made some felt flowers. Mine have two colors, but you can easily just use one. I just like the two colors better. After I made the flowers, I hot glued them to the wreath and added a small clear bead to the middle to make them look at bit fancy.
What do you think? I used these colors so that I could keep it up during Christmas too.
It’s a little bit of a cheater move, I know.
This is wonderful and we love having you at Whimsy Wednesday! Thank you for partying with us!
