30 Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas
Easter is always a fun time of the year for crafts, treats, and celebration. When my kids were younger filling their Easter baskets was so easy! But now that they’re a bit older I’ve struggled to find items that they’ll like. We try not to add more than one or two candy items in their baskets, so we’re always on the look out for non-candy items.
Here are some of my ideas:
- water guns
- sunglasses
- printed, colorful water bottles
- frisbee
- baseball/football/basketball/soccer ball
- flip flops
- playdough
- slime/putty
- face mask/scrubs
- nail polish
- manicure kit
- hair ties/headbands
- hair chalk (temporary color)
- scented candles
- trial size bodywash & lotions
- scented hand sanitizer
- flavored lip balm
- ear buds/headphones
- phone/tablet charger
- word search books
- activity pads (Mad Libs)
- colored pencils
- paint sets
- card games
- gift cards
- movie tickets
- clothing/hats
- small stuffed animals
- LEGO minifigures
- mystery/surprise toy bags
I like to find items at Walmart, Target (the dollar spot section is great!), Five Below, and Dollar Tree. For gift cards, my kids love to get frozen yogurt or ice cream cards, as well as Five Below cards. It’s their favorite place to shop! Do you have a favorite non-candy item? Comment below!
