San Antonio Zoo: Free Admission for First Responders in September
San Antonio Zoo Offers Free Admission to Police, Fire, and EMT Personnel
San Antonio Zoo® is saying thank you to current police officers,
Similar to our Zoo Salutes and Teacher Appreciation Months, this offer pays tribute to the unsung heroes of our San Antonio and Bexar County community who often sacrifice family time in order to serve and protect the rest of us.
“Our police, fire, and EMT first responders work tirelessly to ensure that our community is safe,” said Tim Morrow, CEO and Executive Director. “Offering them and their families the opportunity to relax and enjoy the zoo is our way of saying thank you for serving our city and county.”
As a bonus, these first responders will get to enjoy the first two weekends of Zoo Boo!, a non-scary daytime Halloween event for the whole family.

- Valid police, fire, and EMT credentials must be shown to receive free standard admission
- Up to (4) guests receive special 50% off standard admission when accompanied by the police, fire, and EMT personnel
