SeaWorld San Antonio Halloween Spooktacular

This past weekend we had the opportunity to visit SeaWorld San Antonio for their Halloween Spooktacular. We’ve been visiting SeaWorld for years when we lived in California so we were excited to check out this new (to us) location. SeaWorld®’s Halloween Spooktacular is running now through October 28th and is included with any SeaWorld admission. Here is a breakdown of the kid-friendly Halloween shows and activities that are fun for both kids and parents alike!
Trick-or-Treating
Trick or TreatingTrick-or-treating begins when the park opens and continues until 7:00 p.m. This Halloween favorite is included with your SeaWorld admission. Your little ghouls and goblins are welcome to wear their Halloween costume to participate in the festivities. Children under the age of 10 are permitted to wear a mask. Be sure to visit all ten participating locations: The SeaWorld Store, Discovery Point Gifts, Ocean’s Treasure, Adventure Gifts, Under the Sun, Sea Star Market, Currents, Penguin Gifts, Shamu’s Emporium and Treasure Trove.
Trick-Or-Treat Bag Policy: Please join us in our efforts to protect our seas by bringing a reusable bag or Halloween bucket from home for treats. You can also purchase a reusable bag at the park in any gift shop. Please do not bring plastic bags for trick-or-treating and team up with us to protect animals and the environment.
Activities
FantaSea Characters
Colorful sea creatures await you on the pathway while you trick-or-treat through the park. Our FantaSea friends are ready to meet you and take some fun photos. Check the park map on the day of your visit for appearance times.
Hay Maze
Can you and your family make their way through our hay maze? Work as a team to help your little pumpkin conquer this new fall attraction. Don’t forget to take a victory photo at the end.
Pumpkin Patch Picnic
Pick your own pumpkin, paint it and then enjoy an all-you-can-eat picnic
- Kids get to pick their own pumpkin from SeaWorld’s Pumpkin Patch
- Pumpkin painting and decorating supplies included
- Enjoy an all-you-can-eat, chef-prepared buffet at a reserved table
- NOTE: Additional fees apply to this activity.
Shows
Halloween Pets Ahoy
Don’t miss Pets Ahoy, a comical show featuring the talents of dogs, cats, birds and other animals alike. This show will have a special Halloween theme during select dates in October.
Who Said Boo?!
Elmo and friends dress up in their Halloween best to sing and dance their way through the Count’s Castle for a Costume Party.
Elmo, Zoe, Cookie, Abby and Telly arrive at the Count’s Castle for a Halloween party to discover that Count is nowhere to be found. Through fun games, music and dance, Elmo and friends work as a team to figure out “Who Said Boo” in this spooky Halloween adventure.
New for 2018!
SeaWorld’s Spook-Camp-
- For kids ages 5 – 13
- Camp Hours – 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
- Includes games, crafts, animal presentations, pizza dinner
and snacks.
