How to Make a Felt Clover
For St. Patrick’s Day I wanted to make a simple four leaf clover to wear as a pin. My daughter saw mine pin and immediately said she just had to have one too. But since she is 5 years old, I decided to make her clover a hair clip instead.
I started to make the clover just as I would make a felt flower from my yarn wreath, but with only four petals. I cut 4 felt circles and rounded out the edges to make it look like a heart so that the petals look more like a clover. Then you fold the piece in half and run an embroidery needle & thread through the bottle corner. Once you have all the pieces threaded, pull the thread and tie into a knot. You can then arrange the petals to look the way you want. Once I was happy with the clover, I glued it to a pin.
Simple and easy, just my kind of project!
