Cocoa and Coffee Face Mask
I’m always looking for a new ways to make my own beauty products. I love using natural ingredients to use on my skin and hair, especially because I’ve had issues with sensitivity to chemicals in store bought products. A while back I wrote a post about alternative uses for coffee and while researching I found that coffee can be used as a face mask! This mask can be used to help tighten pores and remove excess oil in the skin. The coffee grinds will help reduce puffiness and swelling, while the cocoa, honey and milk will add moisture to your skin. Sounds like a whole lot of great benefits, doesn’t it?
Ingredients:
2 tbsp coffee grounds
2 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp honey
Instructions: Massage the mask into your skin and allow to dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly.
I’ve used this mask twice and am very happy with the results! My skin is usually oily, and this mask has helped a lot. My skin is very soft after just once use. I recommend that you save the grinds from your morning pot of coffee and mask this mask tonight!
