Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
Summer is always a busy time for us, we have lots of birthdays in our family which means lots of parties too! We try to mix up the menus a bit, but there are always a few dishes that are requested time and time again. This cream cheese fruit dip is one of them! We have served it with a variety of fruits throughout the year, depending on what’s in season, and it’s always good.
I was first introduced to this fruit dip at a baby shower for my oldest. A friend from my workout group brought it to the party and I was so surprised when she told me that it made up of only 3 simple ingredients. The most important part that you have to remember when making this recipe is to be sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature. If it’s too cold that you will end up with little bitty clumps of cream cheese and it won’t be a nice smooth and creamy texture.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 7 oz jar of marshmallow fluff
- 1 tbsp orange juice
Directions: Mix all ingredients in an electric mixer until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
That’s it! Super easy and yummy. If you make it for your next party or barbeque, I’m sure that it will be a hit with all of your guests!
I love fruit dip, and this looks wonderful!
Thanks, it really is delicious! -Monika
