The DoSeum Federal Employee Appreciation Weekend
One of the first places we visited when we moved to Texas was The Doseum in San Antonio. My family and I had a great time, we can’t wait to visit again! You can read all about our trip HERE. If you’re a federal employee, read on to find out about the Federal Employee Appreciation Weekend!
The DoSeum is pleased to announce that, thanks to a generous gift by the USAA Foundation, Inc., it will offer FREE admission the weekend of February 9 and 10, 2019, in recognition of federal employees and their families. Federal employees with valid photo ID, including current and former military personnel and members of their households, will be able to visit The DoSeum for free on this special weekend.
The DoSeum is deeply committed to offering families of all backgrounds in our community free or low-cost admission, as well as to giving children an opportunity to learn through creative play and other informal environments. The DoSeum’s commitment to San Antonio and to every member of its community is shown through programs such as Federal Employee Appreciation Weekend; Free Family Nights held the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7:30 pm; and its participation in the Museums for All program, offering families presenting an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and a valid form of photo ID reduced general admission rates.
