Emergency Preparedness with Essential Oils
As gentle reminder came a couple of weeks ago as Southern California was rattled by a 5.1 earthquake! I’ve had emergency supplies in the garage waiting for me to separate and put into individual backpacks for a year now! My plan was that each family member would have their supplies in a backpack in their rooms where they can grab it quickly, throw on their backs and go. So, I finally did it, and added “Emergency Kit Must Have Essential oils!”
I went to the thrift store and bought backpacks, then filled them with emergency supplies. Here’s some suggestions for filling your emergency backpacks: flashlights (with batteries), beef jerky & pop top canned food, water/juice boxes, rubbing alcohol, cotton balls/gauze, band aids, automatic lighter/matches, poncho, extra pair of socks, bandana, small fleece blanket, travel size shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brush and sunscreen, pens & paper/journal.
