Easy Weeknight Dinner Idea + 3 Dipping Sauce Recipes for Kids!
Today’s post is brought to you by Tyson®. Find out how I make busy weeknight dinners easy for my family!
My husband and I have been looking for a new home all Summer and we finally found one. In fact, we’re moving in this weekend! The only problem is, school starts in just a few days and I can’t even begin to imagine what our house is going to be like while we try to get settled AND start a new school year. As my long time readers know, cooking is not one of my favorite past times. While my day will be filled with unpacking boxes, driving the kids to school, working on my blog, and so much more, there’s still the matter of dinner to prepare every night!
Luckily I have a go-to dinner that the whole family loves – Tyson® Crispy Chicken Breast Strips and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. I like using the Tyson Crispy Chicken Breast Strips sliced on top of a big salad and the kids love to eat their nuggets dipped in their favorite sauces.
Here are (3) dipping sauce recipes that we make to go along with our chicken:
Easy Barbecue Sauce:
- 1/2 c ketchup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Honey Mustard Sauce:
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1/4 c Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
Creamy Dill Sauce:
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
I always have the ingredients for these sauce on hand, so when I’m at my local Walmart I can grab the chicken in the freezer section while I’m doing my weekly shopping and I’m all set for an easy dinner. Tyson® Crispy Chicken Breast Strips and Nuggets are made with 100% natural ingredients and are easy to prepare which makes them great to keep on hand for those busy school nights!
