Knott’s Berry Farm: Boysenberry Festival
It’s hard to believe that our first time visiting Knott’s Berry Farm for their annual Boysenberry Festival was five years ago! This past weekend we were able to visit again and enjoy some delicious food, live entertainment and festive flower decorations! The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs March 16 – April 8 and features over 75 one-of-a-kind boysenberry inspired dishes, drinks and more, plus foot-stompin’ entertainment, the Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden, and family fun everyone will love! From sun up to sun down, the festival offers good ol’ fashion food, fun, and entertainment.

The cards provide ample samplings of eight delicious, one-of-a-kind boysenberry items at tasting locations throughout Ghost Town for a discounted price of only $30. Guests may enjoy all eight items or mix-and-match up to eight tastings.

In addition to dozens of tasty boysenberry food dishes, the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival also features a unique assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic boysenberry infused drinks. Non-alcoholic beverage options include the classic boysenberry punch, Calico Soda, Boysenberry Soda, Cream Soda, Mint Soda and Ginger Ale. The standout of the bunch is the Calico Soda, which made right in front of you, the old-fashioned way, using premium boysenberry syrup, vanilla syrup, and other secret ingredients. For those preferring a stiffer drink, head to the Calico Saloon for boysenberry beer, boysenberry cider, and boysenberry wine. The Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden also offers a wide selection of fine wine, imported beers, and local craft brew.

Bird Cage Theatre
As a tribute to Knott’s past, the Bird Cage Theater will once again be the home of musical comedy melodrama. Cheer the Hero and Boo the Villain in a special presentation at Knott’s Legendary Bird Cage Theatre. America’s Longest Running Melodrama returns with an original, audience interactive, comedy with a surprising Boysenberry twist!
Calico Park
Head over to the center of Ghost Town for a down home, country festival fun! Join our festival officiate and Judge, Phineas B. Berry, as he hosts games and fun every hour! You can compete in a Pie Eating Contest, strut your stuff at Line Dancing, Enjoy talented musicians, or even take home a whole Knott’s Boysenberry Pie as a prize in the world famous Pie Walk!
Camp Snoopy Theatre
Come watch Snoopy and his Peanuts Gang sing, dance, and celebrate at the Camp Snoopy Theatre. The audience is encouraged to sing along to the show’s cheerful tunes. Head over to the Peanuts Meet and Greet area right after the show for photos with Snoopy and the Peanuts.
Fireman’s BBQ Stage
Country Music and Good Food abound as the Ghost Town Miners take the stage in this fun, audience interactive, musical performance. Saddle up for the sounds of classic instruments like guitars and fiddles played in brand new ways. Dance around the stage to the toe-tappin’ tunes or grab a table and enjoy some delicious ribs covered in boysenberry BBQ sauce from Fireman’s BBQ next door.
