How to Make M&M Candy Bark
I’m so excited for today’s post! As part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias® I made some yummy treats that can be enjoyed not only during the holidays but also year-round! I wanted to make a fun dessert that can be customized with your favorite flavors, was quick and easy to make, and was more than just another Christmas cookie. What I decided on was M&M candy bark!
First, gather all of your add-ons. I decided to make two different types of bark. The first was inspired by trail mix and included: peanut M&M’s, pretzel bits, marshmallows, and cranberries. For the second recipe, I used original M&M’s, peanut butter chips and caramel bits.
Next, melt your chocolate according to the package directions. I used a 24 oz block of Almond Bark and divided it into two parts so that I could make each bark separately.
Once melted, pour the chocolate onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Sprinkle your add-ons on top of the chocolate and then let it set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Once set, the wax paper will just peel off.
Then you can break the chocolate into pieces.
That’s it! This is something that can be done all throughout the year for any occasion. Since it’s Christmas time right now, you could use this recipe to make treat bags for a class party, for your office mates or even for your neighbors! You could even make a different kind for each party since there are 10 different M&M flavors!
There are so many fun ways to use M&M’s in yummy treats. For more great ideas on how to use M&M’s, check out: M&M’s Baking Ideas.
