New Disney Movie: Savings Mr. Banks

Disney has a new movie coming out: Saving Mr. Banks. It’s the first film to depict Walt Disney, and stars Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, amongst many other fantastic stars such as Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, Annie Rose Buckley, Ruth Wilson, B.J. Novak, Rachel Griffiths, Kathy Baker! This movie is the untold story of how the feature film Mary Poppins came to life. It took Disney 20 years to get the rights from P.L. Travers to make the movie and I’m so glad that they did. It’s one of my favorite movies!

Savings Mr. Bank opens in limited theaters on December 13, 2013 and opens wide on December 20, 2013.
