3 Ingredient Oatmeal Banana Cookies
Years ago when my kids had a dairy intolerance I remember always looking for new treat recipes for them and it was so hard to find anything! Now that food allergies are more common it’s much easier to find food that fit your needs. I recently was talking to a friend about these 2 ingredient cookies that she makes for her kids and I knew that I had to share the recipe so that other parents who were in my situation would have an easy to make delicious treat option!
Ingredients:
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 cup of uncooked quick oats
- 1/4 cup mix-in of choice (see list below)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a non-stick cookie sheet with cooking spray. Smash bananas with a fork, then combine with oats and mix-ins of choice (I used raisins).
Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes. Makes 14-16 cookies, depending on the size of your bananas.
Mix-In Suggestions:
- raisins
-
chocolate chips
-
peanut butter chips
-
butterscotch chips
-
dried cranberries
-
chopped nuts
- shredded coconut
These cookies are dairy free, vegan, and can be gluten free is you use GF oats. You can make a batch using a variety of mix-ins for everyone’s taste, and serve them as snacks or even breakfast!
