Right now everyone across the country is trying to find their way during these uncertain times. Some people are working from home when they normally would be in an office and most parents are at home with their kids helping them with distance learning. To add to it all, in most areas we can’t even take our kids to local parks or museums to keep them busy!
Fortunately, many companies have stepped up to help us. Dole has created at home resources and printables to help this time at home go by a little smoother! All the resources are free and easy to use. Along with games and coloring pages, they also have educational activities, easy recipes, and articles about health and nutrition. Kids can create garden markers to use in your home garden or play a game of Snack Your Colors to try and eat thee rainbow every day!
They also have a variety of new recipes to try for every meal of the day. My kids are starting to get sick of the same meals over and over, so I’m excited to try a few of them. The Frozen Banana Split Cups look delicious, and the Fiesta Lettuce Cups are something everyone in my house will love!
These resources can provide your kids with activities to stay busy, but they can also provide you with nutritional guidance to build healthy habits for you and your family for years to come!
