Simple & Healthy Breakfast Ideas

My long time readers will know that I have always struggled with breakfast. I make coffee in the morning, start getting the kids ready for the day and breakfast gets thrown to the side. I make sure that my kids eat their breakfast, but for myself it never seems to be much of a priority even though I know it should be! I’ve been trying to make a list of quick and easy breakfast ideas to ensure that I don’t miss this very important meal and today I am going to share one of my favorites with you!
Yogurt is something that I have enjoyed for a long time, since childhood. In the past year or so I’ve started to eat Greek yogurt for a number of reasons, but the most important reason is the amount of protein it offers. Dannon® Oikos® Greek Nonfat Yogurt has 12 grams of protein, which is plenty to start my day off right! I like to buy the plain variety so that I can customize it each day with my favorite fruits but it is available in 12 different flavors: Black Cherry, Blueberry, Honey, Peach, Plain, Strawberry, Vanilla, Apricot-Mango, Pineapple, Blackberry, Strawberry-Banana and Pomegranate. I often use a frozen triple berry mix and keep a bowl full in the fridge to thaw so that I can add some to my yogurt in the morning.
