Washi Tape Bookmarks
Thank you for joining us for the fourth edition of Washi Tape Wednesday! This week’s project was inspired by my daughter. She is in Kindergarten and is learning to read so we have been reading more books than usual. We don’t always finish books and the bookmarks that I have are getting at little worn out.
I made these bookmarks by cutting card stock to 6″x 2″, decorated each one with washi tape, punched a hole in the top and then looped a piece of ribbon through the hole. It took me a little while to figure out the designs, I tried a few different prints and patterns but I am very happy with the end result!
I’ve never heard of washi tape. I’ll have to look that up. The bookmarks are cute!
I had been given washi tape months ago and never knew what it was for, now I can’t stop using it!
Love the bookmarks. My son is an avid reader, so I’m sure he’ll love the idea too.
