Washi Tape Valentines
A few days ago I asked my daughter what type of cards she wanted to get to give her classmates for Valentine’s Day and she said she wanted to make her own, which made me so happy! I love a good craft project with her. I wanted to use washi tape because I have so much and I have hardly used any of it. So I printed out Happy Valentine’s Day on cardstock, cut out cards and then we started decorating!
Supplies:
- washi tape
- cardstock
- hole punch
- bakers twine or ribbon
- scissors or rotary cutter
Directions:
First, print out the valentine cards, cut 10 cards per sheet down to 2″ x 4″, then punch a hole in the top.
Tie your ribbon or string through the hole in the top.
Next, decorate your cards with different washi tape, if you don’t have any you can use pens or markers to decorate them too.
We also covered an empty cardboard box with duct tape so the she would have something to carry her cards in. What a fun time we had with this project!
Do you make your own valentines? If so, what do you use to make them?
