I have been hesitant to take down my Fall and Winter decor for a while. I just love it too much! But with the warm weather here and the sun shining so brightly into my living room, I think it’s time to take down the Snowflake Chandelier and the Maple Leaf Canvas. One of the last pieces that I took down was my Fall Embossed Wall Art piece. I really loved the way it turned out, so I decided to make one for Spring!

I used this Spring Bird & Flowers Set from Sizzix along with my Big Shot  machine to make my embossed pieces. Then I used my Memento Dew Drop Dye Inkpads to gently color the embossed pictures.

 For the background flower pieces, I cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11″ paper into 4 equal pieces and then embossed each one. These pieces took the longest because I used 3 colors and the details were much smaller than the Spring piece.

Then I used a solid color of cardstock across the middle to make the Spring piece stand out again the flowers.

I hung this piece in my living room right where my Fall wall art was. Now to add more Spring pieces to the collection!
